Directions to Our Practice
If you've never been to our practice before, here are two easy routes you could take:
- Take I-25 north to exit 200 towards I-225, then take exit 2 instead of actually getting onto 225. Turn right onto DTC Blvd, then turn left onto Temple Dr. After the Yosemite St intersection, when the road becomes Union Ave and you're about level with the high school, turn left into our parking lot. We're at 8925 E Union Ave.
- Take I-25 north to exit 198, then head east on Orchard Rd. Turn left onto Yosemite St. Stay on Yosemite even when it seems to turn right twice. After Yosemite straightens out, turn right after the high school onto Union Ave, then turn left into the parking lot of the second building.

Incorporated on February 7, 2001, the city was formed from portions of unincorporated Arapahoe County, including the former Castlewood and Southglenn areas. The name "Centennial" honors Colorado's statehood in 1876, which coincided with the centennial year of American independence, earning Colorado the nickname "Centennial State."
With over 100,000 residents at incorporation, Centennial became the largest incorporation in U.S. history at that time. The decision to incorporate was driven largely by residents' desire to prevent further annexations by neighboring Greenwood Village and to maintain local control over their tax base. In September 2000, 77% of voters approved incorporation, motivated by concerns that unincorporated areas were generating significant tax revenue that funded county services without adequate local representation.
The city was founded on a promise of fiscal responsibility, initially pledging to maintain a 1% city tax rate. Today, Centennial continues to evolve as a thriving suburban community that balances growth with quality of life. In 2008, voters approved home rule status, giving the city greater autonomy in local governance.
